A Village of Resources is an event designed to connect families with the many valuable services and organizations available in our area.

This event is open to parents, guardians, educators, students, and community members seeking information about educational support, healthcare, workforce opportunities, family services, and other local resources.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families in Alcorn County and the surrounding areas to learn about resources that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Encore Drama Club is so excited to have Palin Holley as our President this year. Palin is a senior who brings passion for theatre and strong leadership skills. Palin is already working hard. Palin made this display to go outside the Theatre/Art classroom to welcome new Encore members and support our growing club. This year is shaping up to be the most exciting year yet for performance! We were honored with winning a national competition for School of Rock licensing and will have a lot of work getting ready for our first ever Countywide production! Thank you Palin for pouring your heart into this program. Palin was in the 8th grade when this club was created. Those pioneering performers are now Seniors!

Students may pick up their device in the KHS Library tomorrow. Mrs. Brandie Lowrey will begin calling students after homeroom. Please bring your device fee of $25 (cash or check only) tomorrow.

As we prepare for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, we have attached a few important documents for you to review before Friday.

📚 First Day of School Schedule
Please take a moment to review the first day schedule. All Kossuth High School students (grades 9-12) will report directly to their homeroom upon arrival Friday morning to receive important beginning-of-the-year forms. Some of these forms will need to be completed and returned on Monday, when students will have a brief homeroom period to turn them in.

📢 Reminder: All medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must follow district policy and be brought to school by a parent/guardian with the required forms. Students may not transport medications to or from school. If your child requires medication during the school day, please contact your school nurse or office to ensure all required documentation is completed.

To help make orientation as quick and efficient as possible, all Kossuth High School (9–12) families are encouraged to complete the online registration packet before attending orientation next week. Completing these forms in advance will allow you and your student to move through device pickup and the other orientation stations much more quickly.
