Meet LD TV! 🎥
LD TV is all about giving our students a chance to be behind the screen. In this photo, Micheal is behind the camera working with his classmate on a project, interviewing Alec, a part of this years yearbook staff. From interviewing athletes and celebrating big wins to highlighting clubs, activities, and the amazing students who give LDHS the community were known for.

The Lake Dallas High School Bass Fishing Team kicked off their season with their first tournament of the year on Eagle Mountain Lake on Saturday, September 19th! With 147 boats competing, it was a great opportunity for our anglers to get the season started.

It was a tough day on the water, with drought conditions and extreme heat making the bite challenging. Despite the difficult conditions, our boys battled hard and represented Lake Dallas well!

Cade A. & Rylan C. — 32nd place with 6.91 lbs
Holden Y. & Jackson M. — 44th place with 4.67 lbs
Colby G. — 77th place with 1.91 lbs

As a team, Lake Dallas High School finished 13th overall out of 26 high schools.

Congratulations to all of our anglers! We’re proud of the hard work, determination, and perseverance you showed on the water. Keep grinding, boys—the season is just getting started!

Go Falcons!

It happens almost every day- you finally see your kiddo after school, and you ask what they did today.

What's their answer?

Nothing.

But we all know they didn't do "nothing" all day.

If you’re tired of hearing them say they’ve done nothing for 8 hours a day, LDHS Student Bella has some tips for you on how to get them talking!

After a busy Homecoming week, some of our Falcon Band students traveled to the ATSSB All Region Jazz Auditions.

Ulises Quezada earned a spot on trumpet in the All Region Jazz Band and Malik Alexander earned a spot on alto saxophone in the All Region Jazz Band.

Because he made 2nd chair, Malik has also advanced to the Area round! He will record an audition in October for a chance to earn a spot in the All State Jazz Band.

We are of you!
