Alyce Tarver Music Studio

Alyce Tarver Music Studio Alyce Tarver Wells is a soprano based in Memphis, TN. Her music studio includes voice and piano. She began learning piano and voice from age 5.

Alyce Tarver is currently pursuing a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy at the University of Memphis, studying with Susan Owen-Leinert. Alyce is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a piano minor. She has had numerous performing and singing opportunities including the Junior Miss Scholarship Program at local and state levels, church, school plays, an emc

ee for the Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program in March 2012, and is the soprano section leader at Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Midtown, Memphis. She has sung as Miss Pinkerton in The Old Maid and the Thief (Aveiro, Portugal), Mimi in La Bohème, Countess Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors. At Louisiana Tech University, Alyce received the Virginia Thompson, Ben Laney Memorial and La Verne E. Irvine Scholarships. Alyce was named as a semi-finalist at Regional NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Competition during her undergraduate career.
