Lamplighter Middle School students begin every school year with a trip to Camp Hopewell . The students played cooperative games, cooked meals together, and completed a challenging high ropes course. We are so glad they had a fantastic week of bonding and becoming fast friends!

Our Upper Elementary kicked off the school year with a field trip to the Go Ape ropes course at Shelby Farms. They climbed to the highest heights, bonded as a community, and enjoyed challenging themselves. Way to tackle the course, Upper El!!🙌👏

🌭 🌭🌭Hot diggity dog…our annual Link Up event was such a blast! Families enjoyed feasting on hot dogs, picnicking together, and learning about all the great after-school clubs at Lamplighter this fall. It ended with a beautiful sunset. Thanks for coming, everyone!

From the first days of school, Montessori provides ample opportunities for meaningful work and concentration. It is critical that children have time to focus without interruption…because that’s how they learn to concentrate for longer and longer periods of time! Whether they are working on math skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills (including harvesting a melon from the garden!), the key is provide the students with a sensory-rich environment that strikes their interest.💫

LMS Summer Camp is winding down!🥹 We are going to miss all of our campers, and we LOVED our fun in the sun together these last eight weeks. A big shout out to our Summer Camp Coordinator Melanie Keer Pedersen for making summer camp SO much fun this year! And a big thanks to all the staff who provided a safe and enjoyable camp experience for everyone. We’ll see everyone again soon in just a few weeks!❤️❤️❤️

This week, our summer campers harvested tomatoes, enjoyed popsicles on the porch, and slip-slided away! We never stop enjoying the great outdoors on our beautiful campus. 🌳 🍅 💦
