Let’s hear it for these Redhounds!! Kentucky ACDA High School Summer Choral Conservatory is always a huge hit!
These students are interested in pursuing Choral Music Ed as a career! They have spent the weekend with students from 22 other high schools in our state singing, conducting, learning how to write music and advancing on the 26-27 All State tune!

CHS junior and chamber choir member, Brayden Lowe, was selected to participate in the ACDA Southern Division TTBB Honor Choir this past weekend in Memphis, TN.

Brayden was one of the many talented students that represented Corbin, Kentucky, and the Southern Division. Students from 11 different states auditioned and participated in the event.

We are very proud of Brayden and his accomplishments!

Congratulations to Lucas Tremaine, Elijah Watkins, and Nolan Baker for representing the CHS and CMS Choirs at the KMEA Jr. High All-State Choir in Louisville, Kentucky!

The concert was excellent!

Merry Christmas to our students, families, and all who support our choir program! 🎄🎶

This season, I’m especially grateful for the voices that fill our choir room, the families who encourage and support our singers, and the community that shows up so faithfully to cheer them on. Making music together is a gift I never take for granted, and this time of year reminds us just how powerful it is to gather, to listen, and to share joy.

I hope your Christmas is filled with peace, rest, laughter, and a song or two that feels like home. Thank you for being part of our choir family—I’m so thankful for each of you.

Come see their concert tomorrow night at Central Baptist Church here in Corbin at 7pm. Free admission!

Congratulations to Brayden Lowe for auditioning and being selected for the ACDA Southern Division Honor Choir!

ACDA Southern is the southern regional conference of the American Choral Directors Association. Students from 11 states auditioned and we are very proud that one of our own was selected to participate.

The ACDA Southern conference and honor choirs will be held in March 2026 in Memphis, TN.
