Kindergarteners in Mrs. Reeves’ class have been learning about the sound for ‘a’ and how to write the upper and lower case ‘a’. Today, they practiced writing letters in sand and rice while saying the sound in class 🍎

The third, full week of Kindergarten for our smallest Thoroughbreds has started off great! 🎉

Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily evacuated to the playground due to a suspected gas leak in the area. All students and staff are safe.

We are working with the appropriate authorities and expect to return to the building shortly. There is no need for parents/guardians to come to the school to pick up their student.

We will resume normal activities as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take every precaution to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

✨🪄 A Magical Adventure is about to begin in Preschool! 🪄✨

Calling all of our newest little learners! We are so excited to welcome our preschool families to Hunter Hills Elementary for a special evening before the school year begins.

🕓 4:00–6:00 PM

Come explore your new classroom, meet your teacher, learn about daily routines, and discover everything you need for a successful start to the year. It's also a wonderful chance to ask questions, meet our staff, and help your child feel comfortable before the first day of school.

On Wednesday, August 19th, we will open the doors for our tiniest learners for the first time this school year that will soon be filled with learning, laughter, and a little bit of magic 💜🐎🖤
