Back-to-School Reminders

The last weekend before the first day of school is here! 🎉
Parents and families, as we get ready to welcome everyone back, we want to share a few important reminders to help us start the school year smoothly and safely.
Please take a few minutes to review these expectations with your student. We appreciate your help and partnership!

⏰ ARRIVAL TIMES
🚪 Doors open: 7:30 AM
📚 Class begins: 7:55 AM..School ends 3:00PM

Please plan accordingly so students have plenty of time to arrive, get settled, and be ready for class.

🚗 DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Parent drop-off and pick-up will take place in the front loop by the main office.
🚨 The back loop by the cafeteria and football field must remain CLEAR ALL DAY.
Vehicles should not be parked in this area during the school day. Vehicles parked in the back loop may potentially be towed.

🥤 NO ENERGY DRINKS
Energy drinks are NOT permitted at school.
Any energy drink brought to school will be confiscated.
Additionally, any cup brought into the building by a student must be emptied before entering. Whatever is in the cup will be poured out. Students may refill their cups at one of our many water stations.

🍱 FOOD & LUNCH DELIVERIES
We do not accept food deliveries for students at school.
If a parent/guardian needs to drop off a student's lunch, it must be:
• In a container
• Free of logos
Please plan ahead and make sure your student comes prepared with their lunch.

👕 DRESS CODE
Dress code will be heavily enforced this year.
Our best advice: If you think it’s questionable, please don’t wear it.
If a student's clothing does not meet the dress code, we will have to call home, and a parent/guardian will need to bring a change of clothes.
When in doubt, choose something else!

👜 BAGS & PURSES
Students who carry bags or purses throughout the school day must make sure they meet the appropriate size requirements.
📄 Maximum size: approximately the size of a standard sheet of paper.

EXTRACURRICULAR GEAR & BACKPACKS
Students who participate in extracurricular activities may bring their necessary gear and backpacks to school.
However, these items will be taken to a designated room and locked up during the school day. Students will be able to retrieve their belongings after school.

Lynn Camp Middle/High School Dance Team will be hosting open call for student athletes interested in joining the team for the 2026-2027 school year. ATHLETES MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL to participate in tryouts. See information below.

Registration is currently open through 2 PM today and tomorrow from 12-6. All students who plan on attending LCMHS this year have to register every year even if you attended school here last year
