🚨 HISTORY MADE AT LYNN CAMP FFA! 🚨

We are incredibly proud to announce that Harlie Loudermilk and Ariana Pennington, both members of the Lynn Camp High School Class of 2024, have been selected to receive the American FFA Degree! 💙💛

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree an FFA member can earn and is awarded to approximately the top 2% of FFA members across the nation.

What makes this moment even more special? Harlie and Ariana will be the FIRST members in Lynn Camp FFA history to receive this prestigious honor! And we don’t just get to celebrate one—we get to celebrate TWO! 🏆

Their accomplishments are a testament to years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to agriculture and the FFA. They have set a new standard and created a piece of Lynn Camp FFA history that will be remembered for years to come.

Harlie and Ariana will officially receive their American FFA Degrees on the national stage at the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis this fall.

!!We have some exciting news to share!!

It was announced earlier today by the National FFA Organization that Lynn Camp FFA will be named as a Three-Star FFA chapter at the upcoming National Convention in October. We are 1 of only 14 chapters from Kentucky to receive this prestigious honor - the highest rating National FFA can bestow on its chapters. Congratulations to our members for their hard work in making this a reality!

We’re home after an incredible week filled with leadership, laughter, friendships, and FFA!

Our students poured their hearts into becoming stronger leaders, stepping outside their comfort zones, building lasting friendships, and developing skills that will help lead the Lynn Camp FFA Chapter throughout the coming year. We couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented our chapter.

A special congratulations to Chapter Vice President Chance Blevins for serving on the Week 4 Camp Council! Chance represented Lynn Camp FFA with professionalism and pride, assisting with the daily flag ceremonies throughout the week. During Friday’s closing session, he was also elected by his fellow Camp Council members to serve as Camp Council Secretary—an outstanding honor!

Congratulations to Chapter Chaplain Briana Day, whose Team Neon Green was crowned the Week 4 Ag Olympics Champion! Great job, Briana!

Finally, a HUGE congratulations to Chapter Vice President Chance Blevins and Chapter Secretary Lorelai Prewitt for earning the prestigious Carol Martin Gatton Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center Leadership Award! This award recognizes the top 3% of leaders during each week of camp. Out of approximately 300 campers, only six students received this honor—and two of those six were from Lynn Camp FFA! That means 33.3% of the camp’s highest leadership award recipients came from our chapter! What an incredible accomplishment, and a true reflection of the character, leadership, and dedication these students demonstrate.

We’re all exhausted, but our hearts are full. It was an unforgettable week, and we’re excited to see these young leaders bring what they learned back home to make Lynn Camp FFA even stronger.

Today, we dropped off our Vice President, Chance, for an exciting week at the Washington Leadership Conference hosted by the National FFA Organization.

The National FFA Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) is FFA’s premier leadership development experience, held each summer in Washington, D.C. During the conference, students from across the country develop their leadership skills through workshops, service-learning activities, and personal growth experiences while exploring our nation’s capital. Participants are challenged to discover their strengths, learn how to make a positive impact in their communities, and become leaders who serve others.

We hope you have a great week, Chance! We hope you blossom into an even stronger leader and bring back amazing things to implement here at Lynn Camp.
