🐾❤️ September Students of the Month! ❤️🐾
We loved getting to recognize 8 amazing Redhounds as our September Students of the Month! 🌟 Each student was nominated by their teacher for demonstrating our Redhound Standard of the Month: WORK ETHIC! 💪📚
Work ethic means giving your best effort, staying focused, being responsible, persevering when things get challenging, and taking pride in your work. These eight Redhounds have shown us what it looks like to work hard and give their best each day! 🐾✨
Our Students of the Month were celebrated during morning meeting and then got to head out on a special adventure to McDonald’s, where they enjoyed a yummy breakfast AND some time to play! 🍳🥞🍎🎉
At CPS, we LOVE celebrating our students and recognizing the amazing things they do each day. We are so proud of our Redhounds! ❤️🤍

This recognition is a reflection of the incredible work our entire team does each day to create a positive, supportive school environment. We are committed to building consistent school-wide behavior expectations, promoting positive behavior, and celebrating our students for making great choices. 🌟
A huge THANK YOU to our staff for being intentional, consistent, and committed to helping our Redhounds grow—not just academically, but socially and emotionally, too. 🐾

🛒 Our First Community-Based Instruction Trip! 🛒
Today, our students headed to Walmart for their very first CBI trip to shop for ingredients and supplies for our weekly cooking class! 👏❤️
This was so much more than a shopping trip—it was a hands-on opportunity to practice real-world skills, including:
📝 Following a shopping list
🔎 Identifying and locating items
🛍️ Making choices
🗣️ Communicating with others
👣 Following directions
🤝 Working together as a team
Our students did a wonderful job putting classroom skills into practice in the community! We are so proud of their participation, effort, and growing independence. These meaningful experiences help our students build confidence and learn skills they can use every day. 💙
One trip, so many learning opportunities! 🌟

Help us wish Mr. Lawson a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY as he officially joins the Fabulous 40 Club! 🥳🎈
They say 40 is the new 30… but we’re pretty sure Mr. Lawson is going to need a little more coffee, a few more naps, and maybe a heating pad after recess! 😂☕️🧓🏼

The BIG day is almost here, and we cannot wait to welcome our Lil’ Redhounds back to Corbin Primary School! ❤️🐶📚
As we prepare for an exciting first day of school, please take a moment to review the CPS Dismissal Map below. 🚗🚌 This will help ensure dismissal runs as smoothly and safely as possible for everyone!
✨ First Day Reminders:
📚 School begins at 7:40 AM
🚗 Please be patient during arrival and dismissal as everyone gets back into the routine.
📱 Communicate any transportation changes with the school before dismissal, by noon if possible.
🐾 Follow the dismissal map and directions to help keep traffic moving safely.
