The Chai Center Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child. The school is devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents. ork to prepare them for the transition to elementary school. In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning. Reggio-Inspired Learning Environments

The foundation of the Reggio Emilia approach lies in its unique view of the child. In this approach, there is a belief that children have rights and should be given opportunities to develop their potential. “Influenced by this belief, the child is beheld as beautiful, powerful, competent, creative, curious, and full of potential and ambitious desires."[6] The child is also viewed as being an active constructor of knowledge. Rather than being seen as the target of instruction, children are seen as having the active role of an apprentice.[

After a full week devoted to professional development and preparation, our dedicated teachers and staff were ready! They spent the week continuing their education, sharpening their skills, refining their teaching techniques, and exploring new ideas and approaches in early childhood education. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from creating warm and engaging classrooms to developing meaningful learning experiences that will help each child grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

We wish our incredible teachers a wonderful and successful year of teaching, inspiring, and nurturing the next generation!
