Just another example of an inexperienced and someone who knows nothing about shears. The grinding of these shears plus putting a serrated edge on the bevel. I’m blown away at the lack of respect this person had for this stylist tools. Just sad was able to re hone the bad bevel and get the shears to cut as they are supposed to. Reminder. If you get your shears back from a sharpener and you now have a bevel instead of a convex. Give us a call, chat , email. However you need to. We can help keep your shear in always ready to go status. Got a pair of Mail in shears to sharpen all the way from New Mexico. A pair of Hanzo 5.5” and as you can see they were not cutting anything. So Fear The Shear to the rescue. Stone honed and sharpened and boom cutting like a Hanzo should. Let us know how we can get you shears back to what they are supposed to do

Picked up this pair of Hanzo shears and boy oh boy what a disaster. The previous sharpener just destroyed these. They were put on a machine or grinder. And as you can see created a pretty ugly bevel and almost a 1/4” off the front edge of these blades😩😩😩just bad and sad. The didn’t cut well and were folding hair. Fear The Shear was able to rehone the bevel edge without taking anymore metal off the front edge and now they cut like a shear should. If your shears look like this after someone has sharpened them.
