We take pride in the reputation we’ve earned among riders, boarders and campers for our friendly, safe environment and clean, professional facility. and up will develop horsemanship in our safe, fun, and professional environment. All camp days are packed with non-stop, hands-on, and age/skill appropriate activities. Campers learn the fundamentals of riding in our large, open-air arena. Impressive

academy horses combined with individual attention guarantee a riding experience that's instructional and fun. Campers are introduced to ground & mounted safety, responsible horsemanship, grooming, equine behavior & health, tack fundamentals, and much more! Intermediate/Advanced Campers will focus on more advanced riding skills and horses. They will cover in more detail show preparation, exhibition, and etiquette. Safety/emergency procedures, tack selection/function, conformation/anatomy, health/nutrition, and much more! Weekly sessions includes arts/crafts, contests/drawings, photos, and Friday horse show (parents, we have cool and comfortable observation areas from which to relax and watch your riders).


* All camp days 9am - 3-pm with complimentary 8:30 drop-off. Prearranged aftercare available.

* 9-10 week Summer Camp, 2 week Winter Holiday Camp, Spring Break Camp, Single Break-Day Camps (teacher work days, etc).

I am very heartbroken to announce the sudden loss of Samuel Buck this weekend.
Buck was a solid citizen of Malachi Acres for over 20 years. His impact on our community was vast. He taught hundreds, yes hundreds of riders horsemanship, equitation, w/t/c and overall love of horses and riding.
Buck was a Saddlebred. He was originally purchased by Donice Muccio who had him trained and shown in the Saddlebred world. His gates were amazing and so smooth.
School horse life can be tough. He loved his job and was loved back by many. He was always kind to his riders but not alway kind to his herd mates lol If you have any memories or photos of Buck I would love to see them.

Rest in peace my boy. Job well done. You are back with Donice and I can see her smile as she’s riding you again.

🐴 Spiral In and Out on a Circle

Spiral in and out on a circle is a FABULOUS exercise for horse and rider. Spiral in tests the rider's ability to control the outside shoulder of the horse, and to keep forward impulsion in the horse while directing them into a smaller circle. If ridden correctly, it increases the engagement of the outside hind leg, and can help bring the horse into collection. Spiral out tests the rider's ability to engage the horse's inside hind leg while controlling the outside shoulder to keep the horse straight in the body. It also teaches horse and rider the concept of riding from the inside leg to the outside hand. Done correctly, it's a great suppling exercise.
