At the school board workshop this morning, they discussed the redefining our schools process. We are fighting to keep our school open, as we deserve a chance to thrive and grow. We need families to advocate and support our wildcats, rather than running from the face of adversity.

🚨 FOREST GLEN PARENTS — PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚨

Forest Glen Middle School is once again being considered as part of Broward County Public Schools’ Redefining Our Schools plan, which could potentially result in the school closing for the 2027–2028 school year.

Forest Glen has NOT been approved for closure. This is still a proposal, which is exactly why parent and community involvement right now is so important.

At this School Board workshop, the Board is scheduled to finalize which schools will move forward in the Redefining Our Schools process and discuss how parents and the community will be involved.

Forest Glen faced a similar proposal last year and was ultimately removed from the closure list. Community involvement matters.

If Forest Glen moves forward in this process, the coming months could include discussions about school closure, boundary changes, where our students would attend school, and the future use of the Forest Glen campus.

💙💛 This is OUR school and OUR children’s education.

Even if your child is not currently at Forest Glen, these decisions could affect families throughout Coral Springs as school boundaries and enrollment are reconsidered.

Please attend tomorrow’s School Board workshop if you are able. We need Forest Glen families and our community to be informed, involved and visible.
