On Monday, February 12, 2018, The RPD LL.M. will have a fantastic lunch lecture, featuring two very distinguished real estate practitioners and MiamiLaw alumni. Fred Klein is the head of real estate for the DC office of DLa Piper, a global firm with lawyers in more than 40 countries around the world. Fred has worked in some of the most sophisticated real estate deals in DC and around the country, and brings a wealth of experience into what makes a good practitioner and how best to navigate a career in real estate. Bryant Richardson is director and counsel at Westbrook Partners, a privately owned, fully integrated real estate management company with offices throughout the U.S., London, Munich, Paris, and Tokyo. Bryant started his real estate career as an associate in DLA Piper, and branched out to the business/entrepreneurial side of real estate. These two experienced lawyers will share tools, tips, and advice on how to think through a career in real estate, roads that may lead to professional success and personal satisfaction, and how best to enjoy the journey along the way.
