For our final summer student spotlight, we are featuring Shreya Gopeesingh, an undergraduate student from Trinidad & Tobago studying Architecture. She is gaining hands-on experience in the world of design and construction as a Design Intern at Americaribe. From reviewing construction documents and coordinating across disciplines to supporting projects like the Hyatt Centric and Mandarin Oriental in the Cayman Islands, Shreya is helping bring complex designs to life throughout the Caribbean. 🌴📐

This summer, Elisa Ferreira is interning as a Human Capital Management Summer Analyst at Moelis & Company in NYC.

As a triple major in Finance, Human Resources Management, and Management at the Miami Herbert School of Business (Miami Herbert Business School) at the University of Miami, Elisa is gaining hands on experience across talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and HCM strategy while learning firsthand about the people operations powering a leading global independent investment bank.

We are proud to see Elisa applying her classroom knowledge at Moelis and wish her an incredible summer in NYC! 🏙️

Our next summer student spotlight for this week is Cecilia from Brazil, a Communication Studies and Sports Administration student at the University of Miami.

This summer, Cecilia is pursuing an internship with Inter Miami CF in Performance Analysis, supporting coaches and players through match and training analysis, video operations, and performance reporting. She also had the opportunity to attend the FIFA Referee Cup, gaining valuable insight into the game from top officials and experienced football professionals.
Cecilia is having an amazing summer of learning, growth, and pursuing a passion for the beautiful game! 🌍📈⚽

Next up in our Summer Student Spotlight series, we have Amit Elkanar, pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering. This summer, Amit is working as an Engineer Intern at Bliss & Nyitray, Inc., where he is gaining hands-on experience in structural analysis and design, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting residential and commercial projects across South Florida. 🏗️

Through meaningful project work and mentorship from experienced engineers, Amit is strengthening his technical skills, preparing for the FE Exam, and building the foundation for a future career in structural engineering.

Meet Diana from Ukraine, an undergraduate student majoring in Economics and Finance at the University of Miami.

This summer, Diana has been gaining experience across two corners of the financial world. After spending time learning the ins and outs of banking operations at Pacific National Bank, she is now interning with Franklin Templeton Investments in Fort Lauderdale, a global asset management firm.

As part of the Global Fund Administration and Oversight team, Diana is learning how investment funds are managed and monitored on a global scale while working alongside experienced industry professionals. From banking to asset management, this summer has provided an incredible opportunity for Diana to see how global finance works and to build valuable professional skills for the future. 📈🌎

Meet Yael Faroud Rivera from Honduras, a student in the Master of Science in Product Design program at the University of Miami.

This summer, Yael is working as an R&D Innovation, Personal Care & Fragrance Intern at Yanbal International, where she supports the development of new product formulas based on marketing insights and helps enhance existing formulations. From innovation to product improvement, Yael is gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of creativity, science, and consumer needs. Way to go, Yael! 👏🌎

Meet Ranjith Vikram from India, a student in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Miami.

This summer, Ranjith is completing an internship with JDA TSG in New York as an MBA Intern – Business Strategy, AI & Automation. Through this role, Ranjith is helping develop AI-driven solutions that streamline employee support services across HR, Recruiting, Operations, and IT, while exploring innovative ways to improve workflows and scale operations.

From Miami to New York, Ranjith is putting classroom knowledge into practice and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the fast-growing fields of AI and automation 👏 We’re excited to see Ranjith making an impact this summer! 🌎✨
