On Point Tutoring was created to offer a fresh, engaging look on academic subjects by providing young professional tutors who can connect with students and make the material relatable. Programs are focused not only on teaching the material, but being able to establish a connection with each individual student and cater to his or her needs accordingly. On August 17th OPT held its annual Executive Functioning Workshop for Ransom Everglades' class of 2030! 🎉

We know the transition from Middle School to High School can be jarring as students try to adjust to a new social atmosphere, a heavier work load and busier schedules.

This workshop is designed to meet the Freshmen in this pivotal moment and equip them with the intangible and invaluable tools to become well adjusted High Schoolers.

As usual it was extremely rewarding for us and our tutors and we can't wait for next time. Thank you Ransom Everglades School for opening your classrooms to us again!💚

We opened the first week of August with a bang at Breakthrough Miami BTU Camp 2026! 💪

Every year we feel privileged and excited to be working with this incredible organization and their students again.

Our favorite thing to do at OPT is share our wealth of knowledge and expertise with others so they are able to take strong and informed steps towards shaping their futures. 🤓

Breakthrough Miami has consistently provided avenues and audiences for us to do that with and we couldn't be more grateful!

Last week at our second ever Miami GEAR UP SAT Prep Bootcamp!

OPT and our dedicated team of tutors were incredibly inspired and motivated after our first collaboration with Miami Gear Up back in June. 💚

So we were excited to have the opportunity again in July.

Once again we saw amazing results and progress in just one week and want to shout out the wonderful students who participated, as well as Miami Gear Up and Miami Dade College - Kendall Campus for bringing us in to help make it happen.

Our students have already started putting their discounted rates to use! 💚

The Summer Test Prep prepaid packages have been available since early June, and the discounted sessions online and in office are in full-swing.

Once you purchase a package you don't have to begin right away, but there's a little less than 2 weeks left to lock in your lowered rates.

Even if you plan to start in August (just around the corner), give us a call and we can help you take advantage of up to $1,050 in total savings.💸

That's why we don't accept PSAT scores in place of SAT diagnostics or official exam scores.🤓

The PSAT does have some merits in that it helps introduce students to the standardized testing format that College Board uses, and it allows you to contend for the National Merit Scholarship.

However, you can't use the PSAT to apply for any U.S. colleges or universities!
