JuntoBox Films is holding their first ever JuntoBox College Contest! We're asking students to submit their best film idea to our contest page with just a title, logline, and synopsis. The first place winner will receive and iPad filled with film-related apps, second prize will be a GoPro camera, and third prize will be Final Draft screenwriting software. The creators of entries that place 4th-10th place will each win a $50 Best Buy gift card.

Once the contest ends students will have the opportunity to submit their entry as an actual film project, eligible for funding on our microbudget financing platform.

JuntoBox Films is a free online community founded by independent filmmaker Philippe Caland with support from actor Forest Whitaker, who currently serves as Co-Chairman of the company.

Our mission is to provide all filmmakers--regardless of experience--with an honest shot at having their films funded.

Amaranthine- Florida Women of Achievement is seeking VIDEO/MULTI MEDIA DOCUMENTARY PRODUCTION and MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA interns, beginning in May 2013.

Amaranthine is a non-profit organization which oversees the Florida Women of Achievement Programs. FWA produces and presents photographic exhibits, educational programs and video documentaries. Founded in 1992 by Scherley Busch, FWA documents the stories of Florida’s history making women who led the way during a pivotal and exciting time and of the leaders who followed. It has become a valued archive and example of art serving the community. It has been presented at over 35 venues including the US Senate Russell Rotunda, Washington, DC and the Florida State Capitol and Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee.
Depending on interns’ experience, responsibilities may include participation in: video and still production, website production and graphic design, research, writing, media and social media development. A small organization, interns will have the opportunity to assist in different disciplines and work closely with professionals. To learn more about the program see www.floridawomenofachievement.org

Interns will have the opportunity to enhance their skill in a variety of disciplines including multimedia imagery, video production - camera /sound recording, editing, the creative vision of storytelling, promotions and responsible journalism.
