The weather may have been chilly this week, but our hearts were full. 💫

From hands-on planting in the classroom to our Tu B’Shevat service, the celebration was filled with meaningful, heartwarming moments. Even indoors, we came together as a kehillah — with music from Cantor Segal, joyful singing and dancing, and so many smiles shared with our children and families. 🌱🎶

A truly special morning of connection, community, and joy.

This week’s wild animal show was an unforgettable experience, sponsored by our Parent Association. Our students met a snake, skunk, fox, and so many other wild friends! Being so up close led to some of our learners to touch our wild friends, while others preferred to observe from a safe distance — all equally engaged and curious.

We are so grateful to our PA for making such a memorable moment possible for our community! 💙

Inspired by Tu B’Shevat, the birthday of the trees, we took time to reflect on our work as educators. What grounds us? What nourishes our roots?

Every Wednesday, our teachers come together for 30 minutes of shared learning, Jewish wisdom, pedagogy, celebration of simchas and milestones, and meaningful moments with our clergy. Learning and growing, together. 💚

Our hearts were full at today’s Intergenerational Shabbat 💛 What a gift to gather l’dor v’dor — from generation to generation — to celebrate gratitude and each other. From the Priestly Blessing to the joy inside our classrooms, every moment was filled with connection, warmth, and community.

This week we had a Shehecheyanu moment, something brand new and special to celebrate! We launched our very first Margaux School Challah Helpers Delivery Service! Each week, two children will be chosen at random to become our official Challah Helpers, spreading happiness (and delicious challah!) throughout the school. Our very first helpers proudly pushed the challah cart from classroom to classroom, handing out the loaves with big smiles. They proudly wore their "Challah Helper" sign, and were greeted with excitement by the teachers and children.
