Meet Praga Vipulanandan, an Electrical and Computer Engineering Ph.D. candidate in the College of Engineering! Praga’s research explores how quantum tensor networks can enhance uncertainty quantification in machine learning by combining insights from quantum physics, mathematical modeling, and engineering.
Praga’s work aims to improve how machine learning models understand and communicate what they don’t know. 🤖

Guerdiana explores how shared spaces for connection, learning, and empowerment can shape mental health and academic outcomes. Her research provides crucial insights into how higher education institutions can better support underrepresented students and foster more inclusive and equitable environments. ☀️

Savannah’s research explores how Latin American women authors have used literature to challenge political and social injustices from the nineteenth century to today. By examining the trope of the madwoman in Colombian and Mexican literature, her work sheds light on how these authors have reclaimed women’s voices and reshaped historical narratives around gender, nationhood, and power. 📖
