The Coral Gables Police Explorer Program enables young adults between the ages of 14 and 18 to learn about a career in law enforcement.

The Police Explorers is a program for High School students who are interested in Law Enforcement. They are taught the basics of what police officers are trained to do, they assist in community events, department training, and also compete in local, state, and national competitions.

To be a member of the Coral Gables Police Explorers you must be between the ages of 14-21, in high school (to apply), have no criminal record, maintain a "C" average, and must be able to attend meetings and events. Look for the link for more information.
