It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandy Sosa Guerrero. She was CNO at Pan American Hospital and Larkin Hospital and worked very closely with the South Florida physician community. We extend our condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. May she rest in peace.

Larkin Health System has the following residency and fellowship slots available. Qualified candidates can start on July 2025, if selected:
Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship: Candidates must have completed a residency program in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry in the US or abroad.
Addiction Medicine Fellowship: Candidates must have completed a residency program in Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry in the US or abroad.
Geriatric Medicine Fellowship: Candidates must have completed a residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine in the US or abroad.
Pain Medicine Fellowship: Fellows will gain expertise in assessing and managing both acute and chronic pain, with a focus on interventional pain management. Candidates must have completed a residency program in Anesthesiology in the US or abroad.
Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency: An applicant must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible for appointment:
* Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada, accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or,
* Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States, accredited by the American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (AOACOCA); or,
* Graduation from a medical school outside of the United States or Canada, and meeting one of the following additional qualifications:
* Holding a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) prior to appointment; or,
* Holding a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
