As another school year comes to a close, our hearts are full.
Today we celebrated the growth, achievements, and unforgettable moments that made the 2025–2026 school year so special. From first words and new friendships to increased independence, confidence, and milestones reached, every student gave us something to celebrate.

To our families, thank you for your trust and partnership. To our staff, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and unwavering belief in every child. To our community partners and supporters, thank you for helping create opportunities that allow our students to learn, grow, and shine.

A special congratulations to James, one of Crystal Academy’s very first students, as he reaches this important milestone. Watching him grow into the young man he is today has been a privilege and a reminder of why Crystal Academy exists.

As we reflect on this year, one message sits quietly at the heart of Crystal Academy:

We are proud of you.

Thank you for being part of our Crystal Academy family. 💙

A few days ago, we had the opportunity to join the first Miami-Dade Disability Advisory Boards Summit hosted in Key Biscayne — bringing together municipalities, leaders, advocates, and organizations committed to building more inclusive communities.
Representatives from Coral Gables, South Miami, Miami Lakes, Doral, Key Biscayne and others came together to share ideas, celebrate progress, and discuss how local Disability Advisory Boards can continue creating meaningful change.

The conversations reminded us that inclusion grows when communities connect, listen, and act together.

Thank you to the Village of Key Biscayne Disability Advisory Board, the panelists, and every participant who contributed to such an inspiring evening.

Looking forward to continued collaboration and to turning conversations into action — because every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and included. ♾️

Congratulations to our Director of Operations, Kat Cao, on graduating from The Children’s Trust Leadership Academy 2026! 🎓✨

Over the past 10 months, Kat participated in an inspiring leadership experience centered on growth, collaboration, and community impact.

Through this program, she strengthened her leadership skills, connected with professionals across our community, and gained valuable insight and strategies that will continue to support her team and the families we serve.

At Crystal Academy, we believe that investing in people is one of the most meaningful ways to create lasting impact. We are proud to support opportunities that encourage professional growth, strengthen leadership, and ultimately benefit our children and community.

Congratulations, Kat, on this accomplishment and for representing Crystal Academy with such dedication and heart. We are excited to see all that you continue to accomplish. 💜

Today we celebrate Speech Day at Crystal Academy 💬✨
Speech is more than words. It's confidence to ask for help. It's the joy of telling your own story. It's connection.
To our incredible Speech-Language Pathologists: thank you for turning tiny sounds into big breakthroughs. And to our students: your voice matters, however you choose to use it.
Proud to be named Miami Kids Magazine's 2025 Best School for Special Needs because of moments like these.

What does autism acceptance really look like?

Sometimes, it’s as simple as opening a door.

Thank you to the City of Coral Gables for supporting inclusion, and to the many cities joining this movement.

Brandon’s words are a reminder of what’s possible
when employers choose to see ability, provide opportunity, and create space to grow.

Acceptance is what opens the door.

April is also Occupational Therapy Month.

At Crystal Academy, OT isn’t something that happens in isolation—it’s part of everyday moments. Through movement, creativity, and connection, our children build the skills they need to participate in the world around them.

What may look like play is actually purposeful—developing coordination, regulation, communication, and independence. Lots of fun in it too!

We are deeply grateful to our OT team for bringing meaning to every moment.
