Isabelle Grandison, who is graduating this year and is headed to the University of Florida, has won the Arts for Life! Scholarship, presented by the Foundation for Excellence in Education. Selected by a panel of experts from a pool of more than 650 applicants, Isabelle is among only 35 students statewide to receive this distinguished scholarship in recognition of exceptional artistic promise and dedication to pursuing the arts in higher education.
The Arts for Life! program honors graduating high school seniors in the visual, literary, performing, and vocal arts, supporting the next generation of artists as they continue their educational and creative journeys. Isabelle and the other scholarship recipients will be honored at the Arts for Life! Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on June 8, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. Congratulations, Isabelle!

We are still overjoyed by Aureliano Silvero's pre-concert Performance at the Chopin Foundation's Season Finale last May 3. He played beautifully and anticipated a superb performance of William Yang, 2025 National Chopin Competition winner.
Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Barbara Muze and the Chopin Foundation of the U.S. for a rare and precious opportunity!

Pianist Asiya Korepanova joined us on April 25 for a special and inspiring conversation with students of the Advanced Piano Program. Internationally acclaimed, Dr. Korepanova is well known for her extraordinary virtuosity, expressive depth, and her tour-de-force concert programming, such as Rachmaninoffโs complete solo piano works (Americaโs only pianist to have done so). She is also a proud alumna of the Frost School of Music and Centennial Medalist of the University of Miami.
During our event, Dr. Korepanova shared invaluable insights into her artistic journey, from her formative years as a student to her international performing career. She was incredibly generous with her time, going beyond expectations to thoughtfully answer all the meaningful questions our students had prepared on topics ranging from performance preparation to building a musical path. In a particularly memorable moment, one student asked her to play, and she graciously offered a beautiful and intimate performance of the Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60 by Frรฉdรฉric Chopin.
We are deeply grateful for such a meaningful and enriching experience. Thank you, Asiya!

๐น 2026 Advanced Piano Program โ Summer Intensive ๐น
We are ready to chick off with the 2026 Summer Intensive! 15 students have been accepted, 7 of whom are candidates for admission into the Advanced Piano Program! We warmly invite everyone to join us for our public events, all open to the community with free admission. Participants in the Summer Intensive will receive four private lessons with Dr. Luca Cubisino and Dr. Beiyao Ji, perform in three studio classes, and take part in a workshop with Dr. Ana Ivanchenko. Selected students will also have the opportunity to perform in masterclasses with Professors Kevin Kenner, Tian Ying, and Santiago Rodriguez. The program will conclude with a Final Recital on May 31, featuring both Advanced Piano Program students and Summer Intensive participants. This year, our Summer Intensive is sponsored in part by the Chopin Foundation of the United States (www.chopin.org).
We look forward to seeing you all there!
