For this semesterâs FINAL edition of , weâd like to show off some of the amazing opportunities cadets have received over the years being a part of the ROTC program.
Pictured in the first two photos is a base visit to Andrews AFB that took place July 22, 1999. As you can see, cadets got to tour the flightline and and were able to see an F-16 up close. Flash forward 23 years and you can see itâs like time never changed. Det 155 cadets were given the opportunity to tour the flightline at Homestead ARB and were also able to see an F-16 up close.

âHello!! My name is Jamila Rodriguez and I am from Saint Augustine, FL. I am a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University, and I am a Political Science major. I am very passionate about fitness and nutrition. I spend most of my time at the gym or at the beach with my friends. I am part of the Special Warfare Club, and this semester I was part of PT squadron.
Over the summer I went to Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX. I got to meet many officers and enlisted personnel. I also got to expand my knowledge on military life and what careers I want to pursue in the Air Force.
I canât wait to see what is to come in my future and I hope to succeed in all my endeavors :)))!â
