A friend posted this. I thought it was just too true!
Quilter's mantras:

If the fabric is still ugly, cut it into smaller pieces.

Ten colors are good, but 100 is better.

Red is a Neutral.

Finished is better than perfect.

They'll never see it on a galloping horse.

As ye sew, so shall ye rip.

The dictionary is the only place 'housework' comes before 'quilting.'

My friend, "Jack" the ripper.

There are no quilt police.

Measure twice, cut once; measure once, cut twice.

It's not a mess, it's ideas lying around.

I don't have a fabric stash; I have a textile investment portfolio.
