Auditions for Missoula Children's Theatre "The Secret Garden" is May 4th (Monday) at Coquille Valley Elementary School Cafeteria at 4 p.m. There are 50-60 parts for K-12 students who would like to explore acting fun and enjoy drama. Future cast must be available for that week only 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day till the show May 9th which will be at the Sawdust Theatre at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for ages 18 and under, toddlers on laps are free. Tickets can be reserved with [email protected].

Synopsis: The Secret Garden, an original Missoula Children’s Theatre rendition, is a joyful retelling of a story of hope and celebration and all good things in life. Mistress Mary Quite Contrary embarks on a journey from India to her uncle’s home in England. Along the way she makes friends with the hilarious Canadian Geese and the colorful Giant Bugs that Rock! In time she learns to appreciate everything around her, including the Moor Animals and the helpful Fireflies. Add to that a good healthy dose of caring, and what happens? Colin, Martha, Archibald – well, the whole household - begin to enjoy the return of health and happiness in a garden carefully tended…until it blossoms once more.
