It Pays to Come to School at CCJHS! 🚲💙💛

In partnership with Communities In Schools and CCISD, we were excited to raffle off bikes to reward outstanding attendance for two of our students!

These lucky winners, Arrow Rogers and Ivan Araujo, earned their spot in the raffle by having perfect attendance for the six weeks. Every day a student comes to school matters, and we are proud to celebrate students who show up, stay committed, and handle business.

Let’s talk about GROWTH at CCJHS! 💙💛

A huge shout-out to our amazing 6th-grade partner teachers, Miss Fox (ELAR) and Mrs. Bryan (Math)! Their students earned a fun reward by getting the chance to tattoo their teachers after showing incredible growth on MAP testing.

📚 Miss Fox’s students achieved an amazing 71% growth.
➕ Mrs. Bryan’s students reached an impressive 82% growth.

The kids had an absolute blast, and we could not be more proud of all the hard work, dedication, and growth shown this year. Great things are happening at CCJHS!

Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week, part 2 at CCJHS, and listen… survival requires hydration and immunity boosts! 💙💛

Today, our teachers were treated to a little hydration station and some immunity treats to help fuel the day. Because if we’re going to survive the last week of school, we need water, nuts, fruits, and patience… and probably a nap somewhere in between.

Our teachers continue to show up and give their all for our students, and we are so thankful for each one of them. Finish strong, CCJHS! 🐾

CCJHS Teacher Appreciation Part 2 is officially underway! 💙💛

It’s survival of the fittest this week at CCJHS! Day 1 kicked off with bandanas and bagels on Monday, and let me just say… the competition between Team Gold and Team Blue is already serious business.

No matter the team, one thing is for sure… our teachers continue to show up, push through, and give their all for our students every single day.

Hey teachers… we got this! Finish strong! 🐾

A time was definitely had this week at CCJHS as we celebrated our students and their success throughout the school year! 💙💛

were invited to enjoy 2 hours of fun, games, and celebration, including an awesome mobile game truck experience!

A huge thank you to Friendly Fire Mobile Video Games for helping make our Student Success Celebration a huge success. We love celebrating students who showed up, worked hard, and handled business all year long!

Survivor Day 8- Yesterday was the end of Survivor Day 8 challenges. Survivor teams had to each balance a teacup on their head while walking a course. Once finished, they had to relay hoops from one water bottle to another water bottle across the room, using large flat sticks and back again. Then they had to land all of the hoops onto a water bottle and last but not least they had to put together a puzzle and follow the instructions on the puzzle. The first team to finish won reward.

Congratulations to the May paraprofessionals and teachers of the Month!!! Lucille Sutherland, Eric Dawson, Yudelia Trejo, and Christina Monroe, we are so proud of you and appreciative of all that you do to make us shine!!!

Survivor Day 7- Day 7 of Survivor concluded with ping pong chaos. Teams had to use a folded piece of paper as a canal and with a partner leapfrog a ping pong ball down to a second basket. Once all ten ping pong balls were transported, they had to turn around and leapfrog them back to the original basket. Once back in the original basket they had to land all ten ping pong balls in the second basket, which proved to be quite difficult and exciting. The first to complete the challenge won a reward.

* Click on Parent
* Click on Skyward
* Sign in with the parent login for Skyward
* Click on "Open family access"
* Click on returning student registration. Link is on the left side of the screen.
* Click on Student's name and complete the returning registration steps.
* A new proof of residency is required. You can either upload it or bring a copy to the campus. Please make sure your student's name is writen on the proof or residency, if you bring it to the campus.
* Once all of the steps have been completed there will be a green check mark next to each step, then click "submit registration."
* A message will appear on the next screen saying that the student has been successfully enrolled with a green check mark.
