See You at the Pole 2026

This morning, our S. C. Lee Jr. High community gathered for See You at the Pole, a student-led event centered on prayer, faith, unity, and encouragement.

We are so proud of our students who came together before the school day to pray for their school, classmates, teachers, families, and community. It was wonderful to see our Bulldawgs demonstrate leadership, courage, and faith while supporting one another.

A special thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this morning meaningful.

Today, we are sending some major love to the true superheroes of our school family. Our nurses do so much more than just hand out ice packs and bandages—they are the caring heart behind our clinic doors! ❤️

From helping our students feel safe and supported to making sure our staff is taken care of, they work tirelessly every single day to keep our entire campus healthy, safe, and ready to learn. No matter how busy it gets, they greet everyone with a warm, reassuring smile that brightens up even the hardest days.

We are beyond blessed to have such a dedicated, compassionate, and patient healthcare team. Thank you for your endless kindness, your expert care, and for keeping us all smiling! 😊👏🍏

The program is based on three simple steps:

Introducing SC Lee’s Newest and Smallest Fan!!

Earlier this week, Matilda had her first visit to meet the SC Lee Cheerleaders and Dance Team, as well as watch her favorite 8th grade football team! She enjoyed dressing up to fit in with her newfound friends. She had a great time representing LJHS and meeting many spectators in the crowd watching the game.

Ms. Gilliam’s and Mr. Vazquez's 8th graders dove into the lab this week with different colors of clay to tackle the ultimate classification challenge! By molding single atoms into elements, combining them into compounds, and blending them into homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures, they’re officially mastering the building blocks of everything around us.
