For the THIRD day in a row, our amazing Pride of Cove came out to spend the morning with us and greet our students for Start With Hello Week! 🎶👋💙

And what better day for another awesome welcome than Superhero Day?! 🦸‍♂️⚡🦸‍♀️ Our halls were filled with superhero gear, big smiles, high-fives, and plenty of CPE spirit!

A HUGE thank you to the Pride of Cove for continuing to show up for our students and helping us start each morning on such a positive note! We love seeing our Bulldawg family come together! 🐾💙💛

🎨 Tiny Canvas, BIG Creativity! 🖌️

Copperas Cove Jr. High School - Copperas Cove ISD students proved that you don’t need a huge canvas to create something amazing during the 2nd Annual Post-it Note Art Contest! 💙💛

Students transformed simple Post-it Notes into colorful, creative works of art, and the results were so much fun!

We 💙Mr. Sanchez! He truly does have the best heart and is so great with the kids! So glad to have him in our fine arts family!

Mrs. Bigford passed on Top Dawg Teacher to Mr. Sanchez this week. She said he has a kind heart, steady leadership and unwavering commitment! Thank you for making a difference Mr. Sanchez! 💙💛🐾

Please help CCJHS congratulate Mr. Becerra, our Choir Teacher, as our newest DAWG Impact Award recipient! 💙💛

Nominated by Mrs. Snyder, Mr. Becerra was recognized for the tremendous impact he has on our students and campus. He is dedicated, dependable, organized, and committed to helping his students succeed, not just musically, but in discipline, confidence, teamwork, and accountability.

Mr. Becerra sets the bar high because he genuinely wants his students to rise to meet it. His leadership, passion, and consistency are helping shape young people who know how to work hard, work together, and take pride in what they accomplish. 👏🏼

And listen… anyone who can successfully organize a room full of junior high students AND get them to sing in harmony deserves recognition based on that alone. 😂🎤

The final whistle doesn’t mean the night is over! Following our Homecoming game on October 2, stay in your seats and help us fill the stands for the 5th Quarter!

The Copperettes and Pride of Cove will take the field for a special postgame performance, and we want them to feel the support of our entire Bulldawg community! 🐾

These students put countless hours into representing CCISD, and there’s nothing better than performing for a packed house. Families, friends, alumni, and fans—we hope you’ll stay, cheer loud, and enjoy the show!

🎨 CCJH ART IS TAKING FLIGHT! ✈️💙💛

For the fifth consecutive year, artwork created by talented Copperas Cove Jr. High School - Copperas Cove ISD students is on display at the Killeen Regional Airport!

What an incredible opportunity for our young artists to have their creativity showcased in our community and seen by travelers from near and far. Each piece represents the imagination, hard work, and unique artistic voice of our students.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Elena Abercrombie for coordinating this annual display and for continuing to share her passion for art with her students. Thank you for creating opportunities for our students to see that their artwork belongs beyond the classroom! 🎨

❤️🤍💙 Friday Night Lights 🏈 Red, White & Blue Edition! ❤️🤍💙

Last week’s Red, White & Blue themed game was another great night of Bulldawg spirit, and our Fine Arts students brought the energy to Friday Night Lights! 💙💛

🎶 A huge shoutout to Voices of Cove for an absolutely amazing performance of the National Anthem to kick off the evening!

💃 Our Copperettes brought the spirit from the sidelines to the field, while the Pride of Cove Marching Band & Color Guard kept the stands rocking and delivered another fantastic performance!

🎺 It was also 8th Grade Night for the Pride of Cove! Eighth-grade band students from both CCISD junior highs joined the high school band for a special look at what it means to be part of the Pride. Each student was partnered with a Pride of Cove member, played alongside the band in the stands, and got a front-row look at the halftime show. We love seeing our future Pride of Cove members connecting with our high school students and getting a glimpse of what’s ahead! 💙🎶💛
