📣 Start with Hello Dress Up Days! 👋💙💛

We are excited to kick off Start with Hello Week with some fun dress-up days! Check out the schedule below and join us in spreading kindness, making connections, and saying HELLO! 👋😊

💛 9/22 – Tuesday: Hey Day!
Dress Up: Wake up! All you need is love and kindness! Wear your favorite school appropriate pajamas.

Act of Kindness: Hello Greeters. - Pass out Hello passes to meet new people.

Ice Breaker: Find someone who has lived in a different place than you and say hello!

💙 9/23 – Wednesday: Encourage Everyone
Dress up: Green Out! Wear green - the color of inclusion

Act of Kindness: Compliment Day - Give one, Get one!

Ice Breaker: Find someone you’ve never talked to and say hello.

💛 9/24 – Thursday: Let’s reach out, Let’s connect
Dress up: Wear something that can connect you with someone else (favorite sports team, band, book, movie) Hats are allowed.

Act of Kindness: Say Hey! or Hello! to someone you don’t know!

Ice Breaker: Find someone who is wearing the same or similar to your interest and say hello!

💙 9/25 – Friday: Own it! Make it your job to be welcoming!
We are ONE pack! Wear House Creek or CCISD spirit gear, or Cove colors.

Act of Kindness: What’s your HELLO style? Fist bump, high-five, elbow bump, share it with someone new!

Ice Breaker: Find someone who was born in the same month as you and say hello.

Next week, Bulldawgs will Go Green!

On Wednesday, September 23, CCISD starts Start With Hello, a program designed to help students recognize loneliness and social isolation, support peers who may feel lonely or isolated, and build an empathetic, positive community.

The program uses three steps:
1️⃣See Someone Alone — Learn to recognize social isolation, empathize with others, and understand the importance of connection.
2️⃣Reach Out and Help — Develop strategies for connecting with others and overcoming anxiety about reaching out.
3️⃣Start With Hello — Include others, build lasting relationships, and support a connected, positive school community.

💚 A simple “hello” can be the start of meaningful connection. Let’s help make our schools places where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and included!💙💛

🎉🐾 The Back to School Bash was a SUCCESS! 🐾🎉

We had SO much fun seeing our House Creek families come out, enjoy the evening, and make some sweet memories together! 💙💛 Nothing makes us happier than seeing our Bulldawgs having a good time! 🥰

A BIG thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event so much fun! We hope you had as much fun as we did and we can’t wait to see you at our next event! 🎉

💙💛 It Takes a Village! 💛💙

A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers, teachers, principal, and counselor who helped pass out water and keep everyone hydrated during this local water crisis! 💦 Your time and willingness to lend a helping hand are so appreciated!

We are also incredibly grateful for the anonymous donations we received! Your generosity and support mean so much to our school community! 🥰
