We are honored to announce the inductees for the 2026 Hall of Honor: Mike Wilburn, Class of 1966, and Donald Buckram Jr., Class of 2006. Both individuals will be honored at the Boots and Buckles Annual Gala scheduled for April 11, 2026. The event will take place at the Copperas Cove Civic Center (1206 W Avenue B). The social hour will commence at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. For further details or to purchase tickets, please call 254-547-1227.

The deadline to submit a Hall of Honor nomination is Thursday, January 8th. Do you know a CCISD Alum who has made significant contributions to their profession or community? Nomination forms are available online at www.ccisd.com/o/ccisd/page/hall-of-honor

The Copperas Cove Education Foundation is looking for Hall of Honor nominations. Nominees must have graduated from Copperas Cove ISD at least 10 years ago and be recognized as having made outstanding contributions to his/her community and/or profession and must be positive role models for youth in the community. Up to three individuals will be added to the Hall of Honor and they will be honored and inducted at the Copperas Cove Education Foundation Gala held on April 11, 2026. Honorees of the Hall of Honor will have a plaque added to the wall in the lobby of Lea Ledger Auditorium. Past honorees include: John Hull, Joan Manning, Keith Turner, Dr. Karen Harrison, Linda Ledger, Les Ledger, Terri Jernigan, Bradi Diaz, Eddie Wilson, Beverly Smith, and Larry Letzer, Jr.
