We are pleased to inform you that Copperas Cove ISD will be continuing the
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch and School
Breakfast Programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
What this means for families
Applications for free and reduced-price meals are no longer required in schools
participating in CEP.
All Copperas Cove ISD students may receive free breakfast and free lunch.
Districts participating in CEP provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each school day at no charge. All students enrolled in CCISD during the 2026-2027 school year are automatically
enrolled in CEP.

Lorrie Hornaday also shared information about Alpha Pizza, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at where & how the company began as well as the quality, ingredients, and preparation that go into creating meals for our cafeterias.
