Here’s another look at our youngest learners at Walker Elementary School - Copperas Cove ISD as they continue getting ready for kindergarten! 💙
Students in Ms. Wilkerson and Ms. Majszak’s class were engaged in whole-group learning, listening closely, raising their hands, and sharing their thinking. These classroom routines help build the confidence, attention, and participation skills that will support them as they transition to kindergarten.
We are so proud of the growth our MSELA students are showing each day and love celebrating all the ways they are learning and preparing for what’s next! ✨

One stage down. One more to go.
Central Texas College graduate Kylie Boldman earned her associate degree last Friday, before graduating in just a few days from Copperas Cove High School.
Through CTC’s dual credit program, Kylie challenged herself, accelerated her education and proved what’s possible when ambition meets opportunity.
Her journey reflects the power of starting early, thinking bigger and building a future without limits. Congratulations, Kylie!

Martin Walker Elementary School - Copperas Cove ISD 1st graders in Mrs. Yokubaitis’ science class brought their Earth materials unit to life! 🌎
Students learned about Mata Ortiz pottery and how artists use natural resources to create beautiful pieces. They made their own pots out of clay and even created paint by grinding chalk, similar to the way Mata Ortiz potters grind rocks to make natural paints.
What a fun, hands-on way to connect science, art, and culture! Great job, 1st graders! 🎨✨
