It’s Fall MAP season!! 🗺️🍁📈

Starting tomorrow, students will be taking MAP tests for Reading, Math, and Science! Here is what you can do to prepare:

✅ Update iPad and the NWEA app
✅ Charge iPad overnight
✅ Get a good night of sleep
✅ Eat a hearty breakfast
✅ Make sure you have a book in your backpack for after your test
✅Try your very best!!!

Your teachers want to know the level you are currently at and this is a good indicator! There will be an alternate bell schedule following MAP testing with no WIN time on all three test days.

One week from now is curriculum night!! 📝📖

Come join us from 5:30-7:00pm to learn about your student’s courses! With a shortened bell schedule, you can walk from one teacher to the next and listen to them talk about what’s important in their class!

Before the schedule walk, check out our two meetings:

5:00-5:30 - New to North - learn about our campus whether you’re a 6th grade parent, or new to Coppell and North in general!

5:30-5:45 - Annual Title I information meeting - learn more about Title I and our campus!

Then at 5:45 our schedule walk will begin!! We will move you from class to class, in order, to see how your student lives their school day!

We will see you there 🤩🤓

Picture day is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for August 25th!! During your student’s science class, they will have their picture taken in the gym! More information will be sent soon!!

If you miss picture day, retakes will take place on October 2nd.
