From our very first senior class to the final class to graduate from 113 Samuel Blvd, this moment represents the full story of New Tech High @ Coppell. Two classes, one legacy of innovation, collaboration, and community.

As we prepare to begin a new chapter at 185 West Parkway Blvd, we carry forward the culture, relationships, and spirit that make New Tech what it is. Our building may change, but who we are will not.

Hello Seniors!

As graduation draws near, we would love for all of you to close out the year with our annual Senior Sunset event. We will be hosting the event at Sunset Point in Lakeside Village, and it goes from 7 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday, May 19th. Activities will include co****le, Jenga, and pickleball, and there will be music and several photo opportunities; we hope to see you there!

Congratulations to all the talented creators at FUZE Fest 2026! It’s inspiring to see these student filmmakers from New Tech High @ Coppell—part of the NT Fuze program—showcasing such professional-grade work.
The festival highlighted 11 original short films, which were written and produced by the learners using industry-standard tools like the Sony FX30 and Blackmagic Cinema Cameras.
Award-Winning Films
Out of the impressive lineup, three films took home top honors:
• Final Girl: Recognized for its total ex*****on excellence in the short film category.
• Space Between: Honored as one of the standout Drama productions of the night.
• POV: Earned a top spot for its unique Comedy perspective and ex*****on.
These winners join a prestigious history of NT Fuze productions that have been accepted into major venues like SXSW, the Dallas International Film Festival, and the All American High School Film Festival. Great job to the entire crew for continuing to push the boundaries of high school broadcasting and film!

Today marks the beginning of the end. 🗓️✨

Walking through these doors for the start of our final month feels heavy. It’s hard to say goodbye to a building that has held so many of our stories, our growth, and our daily lives for so long. There is a real sadness in leaving this place behind.

But in the midst of the nostalgia, there’s a spark of excitement. ⚡️ Moving and being forced to adapt isn’t easy, but it’s where the magic happens. It’s a reminder that life isn’t constant or predictable.

To our seniors: you’re finishing your journey here just as the building begins a new chapter. You are being asked to roll with the punches, learn new things, and adapt right alongside us.

If this transition has taught us anything, it’s that a "community" isn't made of brick and mortar. It’s made of us. Growing together and supporting each other through the unpredictable is what makes this a place to belong and a place to love. ❤️🏢

As the school year winds down, we find ourselves with bittersweet hearts as we prepare to say goodbye to two absolute pillars of our community: Tamera Mooney and Eric Hill.

Tamera and Eric, it is truly difficult to imagine New Tech High @ Coppell or Coppell ISD without your presence next year. You have been more than just educators; you have been mentors, leaders, and steady hands for countless students and colleagues alike.
