We would like to invite you to come and hear from your learner’s facilitators and teachers. Like previous years, you will follow your learner’s schedule and hear from teachers during the class periods in which your learner is enrolled. Please bring a copy of your learner’s schedule and the bell schedule with you that evening. It may be helpful to have a picture of these on your phone or a hard copy, as you may not be able to access the school Wi-Fi, and some areas of our building have limited cellular service.

Also, please ask your student to write down the correct room number for each class, as some locations have changed from the original schedule.

Please note that you will follow the class periods and spend eight minutes in each class. This is not an opportunity to speak with teachers or facilitators one-on-one. Please save specific questions about your child for a parent-teacher conference, email, or phone call. This time is intended to provide general information about each class, and there will be limited time for questions and answers, especially those specific to your learner.

Notice that 0 hour and 4th period are at the same time. 9th hour and 8th period are at the same time. No learner has both periods, so go to the class that corresponds to your learner’s schedule. Take a look at it ahead of time and make a game plan so that you make it to every class.

Please reach out if you have any questions, and be sure to review the bell schedule as well.

If you arrive late, you may miss part or all of 1st or 2nd period. Please plan to arrive early and be in your first class 10 to 15 minutes before the start time in case of traffic delays.

One more weekend of summer and construction, before we fill this place and welcome the real reason any of us do this job. We can’t wait to welcome our learners and allow this building to be the shed where we spark a fire of passion and exploration for each child. Get excited! We will have growing pains, but the end result will propel our kids and community to bigger and brighter days.
