The Coppell MS West Band is a competitive 3C program that feeds directly into Coppell High School. The West Bands currently have approximately 340 students in grades 6-8, comprising of three performing bands -- Concert Band, Symphonic Band and the Honor Winds. The CMSW Band fan page will be a community page to help keep everyone up to date on all current CMSW band events.

Congratulations to Director of Bands, Kim Shuttlesworth, on being inducted into the Alpha Chapter of the Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity at the 2024 TMEA clinic and Convention!!
Phi Beta Mu is a non-political, non-profit fraternity established in 1938 that honors outstanding Band Directors and is an exceptional achievement for any band director.
We are proud to have her as part of Team Coppell!

Congratulations to the Coppell Varsity Marching Band on their 8th place finish at the 2023 6A, UIL Texas State Marching Band Contest. This marks our 17th year attending this event!
We are thankful to our entire village of Administration, Parents, Community, Private Lesson staff AND our team of GREAT Middle School Band Directors for making what we do possible!
