Two of TCE’s beloved crossing guards are hanging up their whistles and retiring! 🛑🚦 Sandy Edwards and Laurie Johnson have been keeping our Texans safe at the Heartz/Parkway intersection in the rain ☔️ , snow ❄️ , and heat ☀️! Thank you, both! Enjoy your retirement! 👏🏼💚

This week was also the 2026 Spring Bike Club’s last ride! Congrats to Coach Hayes and these energetic 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for staying active, getting outside, and making friends! Thank you to the parent volunteers for keeping our riders safe as they crossed streets and pedaled through Andy Brown Park! Well done, Texans! 👏🏼🤠🚲💛

🌺 TCE PTO Teacher Appreciation Week: Day 5! 🖐🏼🌺 On day 5 we went from the islands to the bayou with the Dads & Dudes Cookout! Fried catfish, Grilled shrimp, Chicken and sausage gumbo, Vegan red beans and rice, Apple slaw, Corn salad, Corn bread, and Bread pudding! (It was so good we didn’t snap any pictures!) And our final treat: SONIC🥤drinks for everyone! The leaves on these trees throughout the school contained grateful messages from all the learners. THANK YOU, TCE STAFF! We hope you felt our appreciation all week long! There’s no place like TCE! 🫶🏼🤠💚

Lunch from Jimmy John's 🥪, even more relaxation with Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (Coppell, TX) and raffle prizes 🎟️ from our generous donors Tangerine Salon Pure Barre Brazos Creative and . 🤗TCE Staff, bring your appetite tomorrow for a very special Day 5 lunch to wrap up this fun week! 👀👏🏼

TCE PTO Teacher Appreciation Week: Day 3! 🎉 Breakfast from Playa Bowls, treats from Project Lean Nation, more relaxation from Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (Coppell, TX), followed by lunch from Salata! And fun door prizes from Kendra Scott, Pinstack and Pappasito's Cantina! What a day! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 👀
