Established in 1993 as a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church, we work together to provide every student a quality, Christ-centered education and strive to help each child reach their fullest potential spiritually and academically.

At this time, Christ Lutheran School's Board of Education and Church council have determined due to low enrollment it would be financially impossible to open the school this September for the 2024-2025 school year.

Administration has been meeting in regards to contacting families about the closure and plan to do so this week. Any payments that were made for the upcoming year will be refunded and all transfer requests will be dealt with as soon as possible.

This has not been an easy decision and we thank the community for all the love, support, time, and dedication it has given us in the past 30 years. Christ Lutheran School has been an integral part of so many lives and has spread the word of God's love to hundreds of children and their families.

We ask for your prayers during this difficult time and hope that we may be able to open again in the future.

A huge shoutout and thank you to Southport Forest Products, Tom Perry Trucking, and Peterson CAT for the donation of the wood chips, the use of the dump truck, and the equipment needed to spread out the new woodchips in the playground!

A special shout out to the Coos County Fair and Rodeo Queen Paige and her horse, Harper for visiting our summer program today! The students even got to participate in some stick-horse racing!
