Lighting the Fire Within How a Mobile Wood Fired Oven changed student lives in a small rural highschool
We offer college visits, SAT and ACT fee waivers, tutoring, stipends, and a six-week Summer Academy that simulates a college environment for participants.
The Southwestern Oregon Community College Upward Bound program seeks to help first-generation, low-income students gain the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in postsecondary education. Our program serves students at Marshfield and North Bend High Schools. Upward Bound is a federal Trio program funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education totalling $250,000.

Dear North Bend High School Students and Parents,
You may have heard that our county continues to have an increase in Covid-19 cases. There have also been conversations through social media about schools changing their model of instruction.
As of this date North Bend High School is not changing our delivery of services. We continue to offer our courses through Comprehensive Distance Learning. Small groups of students are able to come in for Limited In-person Instruction. We are continuing to add more Limited In-Person Instruction opportunities.
Athletics/activities will not be offered as of today, 12/20/20.
The end of this term is Thursday. Please make sure your students have completed ALL tests and “standards” for the term. There will be no instruction Friday, December 11th, for grading.
Grades for the term will be posted January 6th but you can check your grades, or the grades of your student on StudentVue and ParentVue.
Have a great week,
Darrell Johnston
