Both series are designed to help child care professionals understand and respond to challenging behaviors and create connections with children and families. These self-paced/asynchronous courses will be available in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, English, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese and take between 1 and 1.5 hours each to complete.
All Courses are:
Free and optional
Hosted through OCCD
ORO Credit Approved
1-1.5 hours per module
Available in: Arabic, Simplified Chinese, English, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese
The Managing Behavioral Escalations Series contains five (5) self-paced modules focusing on managing behavior and behavioral escalations. The modules build on each other and are designed to be taken in order. Child care professionals are encouraged to take them one at a time, and give themselves time between each module to practice and apply what they have learned before moving on to the next module in the series.
