A few weeks ago we shared our Parent Show & Tell... but if we're being honest, this might have been our favorite sequel. 🩺🐾

Armed with brand-new knowledge from their parent experts, our first graders opened the doors to their very own veterinary clinic—and business was booming.

🐶 X-rays were reviewed.
💓 Vitals were checked.
🩹 Patients received thorough exams.
💊 Medicine was prescribed.
❤️ Every stuffed animal left feeling much better (and thankfully none complained about the wait time).

We're pretty sure we just witnessed the graduating class of 2037's future veterinarians and vet techs getting their very first clinical hours.
A big thank you to Mrs. Sparks for dreaming up such a creative, hands-on project. It's learning that our students will remember long after the bandages come off ❤️💙

Sometimes the best way to prepare for a new school year is to hit pause for a couple of days.

Our admin team spent the last few days in Corvallis learning alongside fellow ministry leaders, and they're coming home refreshed, encouraged, and excited for all that God has in store for our school this upcoming year!

This week our staff was so blessed to be able to attend a pastors'/staff conference at Calvary Corvallis. What a joy we had to soak in God's word with other faithful men and women. When you see the staff this week make sure to ask them what The Lord was doing in their hearts this week! What a blessing we get to partake in as we glean from one another.

One of our favorite end-of-the-year traditions is Step-Up Day! Before summer officially begins, our elementary students get a sneak peek at what's waiting for them in the fall.

They move into their classroom for next year, meet their new teacher, learn the lay of the land, ask all the important questions ("Where do we keep the snacks?" is probably high on the list 😄), and spend some time getting excited about the year ahead.

Here's a look back at our future second-grade crew getting to know Mrs. Holland. Judging by the smiles, we'd say they're more than ready for what's next!

Summer may be flying by, but we're already looking forward to welcoming these Warriors back this fall! ❤️💙

We've got plenty of great snapshots from our end-of-the-year field trips, but this little masterpiece somehow climbed its way to the top of the favorites list.

Turns out first graders aren't the only ones with interesting things to bring to Show & Tell.

This time, the parents took center stage... and they did not disappoint!

Our classroom was visited by a baby bunny, a brand-new baby, X-rays, CT and MRI images, show quail and chickens, plus a crash course in life on the labor and delivery floor—complete with swaddling lessons, stethoscopes, and those stylish sterile gowns everyone dreams of wearing.

The best part? Curious minds got to ask a million questions, get hands-on with some incredible careers and hobbies, and proudly point across the room to say, "That's MY mom!"

A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers:
🐰Miss Rachelle, who introduced everyone to Peanut Butter the rabbit and baby Augustus.
🩻 Miss Sierra, who gave students a peek inside the fascinating world of medical imaging.
🐥Miss Natalie & Miss Abby, who brought along their show quail and chickens and shared all about raising poultry.
🩺 Miss Carlee & Miss Amber, who gave students a glimpse into labor and delivery with swaddling, stethoscopes, and sterile gowning!

We're pretty sure Parent Show & Tell deserves an encore 😉

Some students collect cords. These students earned theirs with grease under their fingernails and sawdust in their shoes.

Here's a little throwback to this year's CTE cord recipients—a group that didn't just learn about building things... but actually built them.

Over the course of their time at Riverview, they rebuilt an engine, brought a broken-down truck back to life, completed Woodshop I, Construction I, and Mechanics I, helped construct our shop building, and built the garden shed that found a new home at this year's Hoedown auction.

Not a bad résumé for a group that's only just graduated.

We're incredibly proud of this hardworking crew and can't wait to see where the Lord leads them next. We have a feeling they're just getting warmed up 😉

🚨 RIVERVIEW CAMPUS SECURITY BULLETIN 🚨

A small but highly energetic biker gang has once again taken control of campus.

With the usual obstacles (students, parents, and the occasional staff member carrying an armful of papers) noticeably absent, suspects have been observed completing countless laps at speeds that can only be described as "enthusiastic."

The group is considered friendly, heavily armed with scooters, bicycles, and unstoppable summer energy. Attempts to slow them down have been unsuccessful, largely because they're having far too much fun.

If spotted, simply wave... they'll be back around in about 14 seconds. 🚲🛴☀️

Summer break had barely started, and a few familiar Riverview faces were already covered in paint, hauling lumber, and putting in some serious miles for a great cause.

Several of our staff and students had the privilege of joining a mission trip to Carmen Serdán through Riverview Christian Fellowship, where there wasn't much time for sitting around. By the end of the trip, the team had torn off and prepped two roofs, built a wheelchair ramp, painted the inside and outside of a new addition, finished the tile work, delivered two new basketball hoops for the court, and, best of all, spent time building relationships with the children at the orphanage.

If you know Mrs. Silva, Miss Allison, Miss Julie, or Mr. Westmark, this probably doesn't surprise you one bit. Give them a chance to serve, and they'll happily trade summer break for work gloves.

We're grateful they had the opportunity to be part of what God is doing through Riverview Christian Fellowship and can't wait to hear more stories from the trip. ❤️💙
