Years ago I went to truck driving school. I met a young man and as we laughed and talked a couple people ask how long we had known each other. We laughed even harder when we told them we just met. We roomed together though school, and as I was away from home his family welcomed me into their lives as well.
I married his niece, had my son's and as things don't always go as planned we went our separate ways. Years later I heard he was battling addiction and prayed for him often. I keep touch via Facebook and have watched him grow over the last year. I know it hasn't been easy.
But Tim Eckelbarger has celebrated his first year clean and sober. I'm proud of you! One day at a time, may peace be your companion on this journey.

Three weeks ago we took a homeless woman from a bench, emptied her shopping cart and got her a place to live. She is now getting employment and looking for work.
It reminds me of the starfish story. Beach littered with star fish and one man tossing the back into the water. When told he couldn't possibly make a difference, he tosses another party n the water and says. " I made a difference to that one."
Keep on trying Jennifer, you'll get there, till then we go your back.

2. I'm gonna keep on keeping on.
3. No matter what happens I'm gonna be OK.

JJ is our youngest, his mom works part time, goes to school and takes part in our transportation program.

Miss Muffet is one of our second shift babies, her favorite past time is eating and feeding the dog. :-)
