The 10th Cooperstown Central School Athletic Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the N.J. Sterling Auditorium.

The ceremony is open to the public, and we would love to see the auditorium filled with former athletes, coaches, families, students, and community members celebrating this incredible group!

We're proud to share that Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School has been named a New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) School of Excellence for the 2025-26 school year!

This prestigious recognition is awarded to schools where 75% or more of varsity athletic teams earn Scholar-Athlete Team status. To achieve Scholar-Athlete Team recognition, the average GPA of the top 75% of each team's roster must be 3.6 or higher.

This honor reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of our student-athletes, coaches, teachers and families, who continue to demonstrate that success in athletics and academics go hand in hand.

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes for representing the Hawkeyes with excellence both in the classroom and in competition!
