Music for Life - Piano Lessons for All Ages Virginia Morgan began studying piano at the age of eight in Anchorage, Alaska, and studied with Maria Allison on the Kenai Peninsula as a young adult.

She attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, studying piano with Dr. Timothy Smith. There, she performed in numerous chamber music, piano master class, and student recitals, sang with the UAA University Singers, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Education with an emphasis in Elementary Education in 1998 from Kenai Peninsula College and retains a State of

Alaska Teacher Certificate with an endorsement in K-8 Elementary Education. Virginia has taught adults and children professionally for over twenty five years, providing private music lessons to all ages, instructing 6th-8th grade public school, as well as teaching and coaching teachers in graduate level Literacy Institutes at Kenai Peninsula College and University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is wife to Thomas Gossard, the mother of two children, a community volunteer, and maintains a private studio of piano students. She continues to perform in piano recitals with her students and accompany student programs at Cooper Landing School.
