❤️ For the third year in a row, our students had the privilege of participating in the Holocaust Survivor Celebration Lunch hosted by Goodman JFS of Broward County.

This special event honors Holocaust survivors with a brunch, entertainment, socialization, and dancing, celebrating their resilience, strength, and enduring spirit.

Our 7th and 8th grade students played an important role throughout the day, greeting survivors, helping guide them to the sanctuary for songs, and assisting with serving food and drinks.

What makes this experience especially meaningful is the genuine connection that develops between our students and the survivors. Year after year, students remember the individuals they met and eagerly seek them out to continue conversations. When a survivor begins sharing their story, you’ll often find students gathering nearby, listening intently and learning firsthand from living history.

One of the most joyful moments of the celebration is seeing students and survivors dancing together, a beautiful reminder of resilience, community, and the power of human connection.

We are honored to have been invited back for a third consecutive year and grateful for the opportunity to help preserve these stories while building relationships across generations. ❤️

This week, our kindergarten students experienced an immersive Glow Day filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and excitement! 💡🌟 Under the black lights, students explored STEM, literacy, math, teamwork, and art in a fun and engaging environment.

From building glowing cup structures during STEM challenges, to practicing CVC and sight words in our Literacy Glow Day Centers, to sequencing numbers from 1–100, learning truly came to life. Students also created glowing artwork with neon markers and crayons that lit up the classrooms beautifully.

One of the most exciting moments was watching the children discover how their clothes glowed under the black lights, creating magical memories filled with laughter and wonder! ✨

At Beth Emet School, we love creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning every day. 💙

🦁🐢🦋 Our 1st graders at Beth Emet School brought learning to life with their incredible Animal Projects!

Each student chose an animal that sparked their curiosity, researched fun facts and important information on their own, and then transformed into their animal for a special immersive presentation. From creative costumes to confident presentations, the 1st grade students turned into a world full of wildlife, through imagination and discovery. 🌎✨

This immersive learning experience helped students build research skills, creativity, public speaking confidence, and a deeper connection to the animals they studied.

Kudos to our amazing 1st graders for all their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm! We are so proud of you! 🐾👏
