If you or you Girl Scout has attended camp, you know the magic of the t-shirt! On the first morning, the front of the t-shirts give us hints about what is in store at camp and our names are added to the back. It’s your name or nickname as a camper and if you’re a unit caddie, program caddie, or adult volunteer, it’s your camp name.
Then the last day comes and the sharpies come out. We stand in lines, gather in groups, and even the youngest and most shy bring courage to ask “will you sign my shirt?”. As an adult volunteer, you witness joy, memories, and friendship signed onto t-shirts. Magic. In a t-shirt. 🪄👚🥰
And when one of our campers, caddies, or adult volunteers see one of these shirts in the wild… you can bet it’s met with joy and stories!
