Cross of Christ Lutheran School

Cross of Christ Lutheran School To help each child grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our school has been maintained and supported by Cross of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1977. Preschool through 8th Grade are taught by pastors and teachers who are trained and qualified to give them a Christ-centered education for both body and soul. Our school aids parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibility to raise their children in the training and instruction of the Lord (

Eph. 6:4). Our school also fulfills its responsibility to carry out the Lordโ€™s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19).

Today we pause to celebrate the dedication and faithful work of our teachers, staff, and volunteers who make our Christian Education School a place where children grow in knowledge and in Christ. As we enjoy this day of rest, we hold onto the encouragement of 1 Corinthians 10:31: โ€œSo whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.โ€

We are so thankful for the dedicated teachers at Cross of Christ Lutheran School. ๐ŸŽ‰Welcome Back to School! As we step into a new academic year, weโ€™re excited to reconnect, grow, and walk together in faith.

This yearโ€™s theme is โ€œSet Apart,โ€ drawn from 1 Peter 2:9 which reminds us who we are in Christ. We aren't just saved from something (called out of darkness), but also saved for something (to declare his praises). In a world where it's easy to blend in, God has graciously set us apart as his own people and given us a unique purpose.

Our prayer is that every student grows in the confidence of being God's treasured possession and shines the light of Christ in the world around them.
