Community drives everything we do at Midwest Precision Shooting.
Whether we’re coaching a new shooter, hosting a match, building targets, competing, or volunteering with organizations like USPRA, staying actively involved in the precision rifle community helps us better understand what shooters, match directors, and the sport need to keep moving forward.
We’re proud to contribute beyond MPS and to stay connected to the people and organizations working to grow the sport at every level. At the end of the day, this community is why we do what we do and we’re grateful to be part of it.

MEET THE BOARD: RUTH SOUCIE
As one of USPRA’s Rimfire Directors, Ruth Soucie brings years of competitive experience, match-directing expertise and a genuine passion for growing the sport.
Ruth began her precision rifle journey in 2019 and earned her place on Rimfire Team USA in 2023, representing the United States at the World Championship in Italy, followed by another Team USA appearance at the 2025 World Championship in the UK.
But her impact on the sport goes far beyond competing.
As a match director in Minnesota, Ruth has earned a reputation for putting on exceptional events, while her involvement with national and local shooting organizations has given her a unique perspective on what it takes to build and grow competitive shooting.
She’s also a passionate advocate for female participation in shooting sports, working to create opportunities and encourage more women to find their place on the firing line.
And right now, Ruth has been working hard behind the scenes, connecting with sponsors and helping bring together the support needed to make this year’s World Championship possible.
A lot of the work that goes into Worlds never happens on the firing line - and Ruth is one of the people making it happen.
