Lucky Trays, Happy Kids!
We had some extra fun in our cafeterias this month! As part of our National School Lunch Week celebration, CUSD Food & Nutrition held our monthly special event, where students had the chance to find a lucky lunch tray and win an adorable stuffed animal!

The excitement, smiles, and happy faces made this event so much fun! We love finding little ways to make lunchtime special for our students.

It's about more than just serving nutritious meals. It's about creating positive experiences and making a difference in our students' day!

Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day | October 12

Today, Coolidge Unified School District honors the histories, cultures, and ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples, including our neighbors, students, and families in the Gila River Indian Community.

We value the knowledge, perspectives, and traditions Indigenous students and families bring to our schools. This day offers an opportunity to listen to Indigenous voices, learn about their histories and contemporary lives, and strengthen relationships through understanding and respect.

Thank you to the Indigenous families, educators, and community members who help shape our school community.

The final attendance percentages are in, and we have our Quarterly Attendance Champions! 🏆

A huge CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our 4th graders for pulling off the win!

To celebrate, 4th Grade will have a Bingo Party in the cafeteria on Thursday, 10/15, during specials from 2:30–3:15 p.m.

The celebration will include:

🎶 Music
🎁 Prizes
🍦 Ice cream sandwiches
🎉 Plenty of Bingo fun
💪 And, if the students are nice, Mr. Buff may finally show off those massive muscles of his!

The proposed bond would authorize up to $39 million. The district proposes an initial sale of $13 million, with later sales based on need. The full authorized amount may not be sold.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue to share information to help our community understand the proposal and the projects under consideration.

These amazing women truly are the heart of our school!❤️

We honestly don’t know what we would do without them. They pour so much love, care, and pride into our campus every single day. They work behind the scenes to make sure our school is clean, welcoming, and shining bright for our students and staff.

But what makes them so special goes far beyond the work they do—they bring kindness, warmth, and a caring heart to our school family every day. They are always willing to help, always there when we need them, and they make our campus feel like home.

We are so incredibly grateful for these wonderful women and everything they do for our school. They make our campus shine, but it’s their hearts of gold that make our school a better place.🧡💙🐅🧡💙
